Post-performance

I haven't been blogging here for quite some time. About 1 week? or 5 days. I know that some friends might be eager to know how I fared in my latest show... Well....... Look at this...


HAIZ... I still pretty much sucks.

Yah, I sucks la... sianz to the centre of Earth already. I don't know why but when I am given a bigger role, I kok up. I am just so damn... .... I don't know.. nervous wreck? SHUCKS ke naden de sianz... Hell i dont know what I am typing

So many things happened la.. I am in a sort of bad mood. Although teacher never blame me, I still felt lousy. She said that she was like this too when she first acted as a main role. She said that I was considered not bad already but I still felt that I suck.

Why is it that.. of all people I am the one holding a broken mic? WHy? Why my yuan bao drop.. why no time to change costumes?? Arrggghhh... shuoots..

Should I or should not I blog out the sucky stuff? Maybe another day. Anyway I took some photos. Not alot.. about 10 I think. Sianz. No time to take pic.

ARGGGHH.. Just let me die.

overall u did well, dont blame urself already. Live performance tend to have cockups no matter how well u prepare them during rehearsals. Eg. Mic no battery, mic connection loose. Lighting error.
next time if u need more courage or whatever, tell me. i will withdraw them out from my bank account.

XJ.. You know you very fast or not? It is scary to think someone read my entry so fast.. I am still checking for grammar mistakes....

Anyway.. I edited the post.. included some details of my shitty mistakes...shhoooots..

at least u gave a try! it should be an achievement. Give yourself a pat on the back and strive on for the next performance.
(actually we also scared of our coming performance.....)

Guess what, I dropped my yuan bao on my debut appearance in a big theatre, and it's when I was coming onto the stage! The thing just hanged behind my back like a mousetrap stuck onto a monkey's tail. I have to quickly retrieve it and try to slide it into my cloth belt. And in the process of doing it, I accidentally switched it off, and so I was silent throughout the entire scene, which happened to be the only scene where I had quite a bit of dialogue! I felt real sore, because that's the only show I acted in and was published into VCD. Sigh!

i trying to find my measuring tape b4 my line. i scare i cant find the tape... then my 1 hand doing some action, e other finding the tape...

AC and mingde: I think there will always be regrets in life! I tot I was the only making such stupid mistakes.. hee hee i can't stop thinking about the 'or bin' situation of XJ...

3 more students joined COI. That officially makes COI GZX troupe a very crowded troupe. In fact, overly crowded. There are 21 students now and including Ang, we will have 22 actresses/actors. Ang is going to have problems squeezing in all the students into 1 show. I don't think there are lots of shows which have 22 roles. Bao Hua and Zhu Ying has joined us for some time so they are not considered newbie already (MD mentioned that they are newbies in his blog). The 3 newbies I am talking about are Wanru, Si Qing and Ai Qing. Si Qing and Ai Qing are not sisters. They just happened to have 'Qing' in their names. I have not taken pictures of Siqing and Aiqing but I will try to take some and blog. I have got a few pics of Wanru but I will blog another day. As usual, Ang did her usual rounds of asking whether the newbies want to be dan or be shengs. Frankly speaking, both roles are overly crowded already. Holland Rd Performance

Yesterday we had a performance at Holland Road Blk 2. I was doing the excerpt 'Broken Bridge' of Madam white snake and the others were doing Tang Bo Hu. I couldn't find a Xu Xian (YH dun like this role) so I got no choice but to ask Naiba for help. Heng he was free that day to help us. Kanglong found a very nice spot to take photos and everyone took photos at that spot.... I think this spot is nice too with the pillar behind and the flowers and the white background... Me and Naiba... Hmm, too bad his face kana hidden in shadow lor. Susan as green snake. I didn't realise that she was wearing the costume wrongly lor.. haiz, too late to inform her liao... I like to act with Naiba cuz I don't look fat with him. I stomach pain... need to go toilet... :P Pain until cannot walk le.... sob sob... Cannot find toilet, I very sad.... I believe the toilet is there..... Cannot find toilet, I think I better take a break here... Believe me, I know where the toilet is.... Green sn...

I was browsing the internet looking at opera related videos when I came across a song 'N+1' sang by Chris Lee. Man, I was surprised by the opera elements in the song! She combined hip hop and chinese opera (like Jay and Lee Hom) and the MTV is quite nice. It's like abit of hip hop dance and some chinese opera. Chris Lee even dressed up in opera 'wu dan' costume! Hee hee, but she looked a bit weird. Her actions are good but looks wise, weird. Ok, the MTV. I should learn to sing this song. Lol...
