That is the name of our latest show. Flower moon and Spring Wind if you want to translate it directly. I have never seen this show before. Just like I have never seen Long Feng Xiang before so I have no idea what this story is about. Yesterday, Ang asked me if have any xiao sheng photos for the poster. I was very happy. I thought maybe I am going to act as sheng in this show. Apparently, I was wrong. YH told me that there is a role in the show where a girl disguised as a man to kill the emperor. Oh, so I am a girl disguised as a man lah. But never mind! I still get to dress up as sheng mah. Hahaha. I dunno what the story is about so I am not sure about what kind of role this is but since Ang assigned it liao, I will try hard lor. Then this morning, Ang called and ask me to go down for photo shoot tomorrow. I am supposed to bring a 'wu' costume... Wah, first time acting as a wu dan leh! LOL. I saw this video of Kong Ying singing the song, 说唱脸谱. I like this song very much and I think Kong Ying sang it very well for a kid her age! She is soooo young and she already got such a powerful voice. Then again, many china kids have talent like this. It's amazing. Listen to this.

I just found out after my performance last month that Uncle Lim was there that day!!!! I was like.. 'WHAT?????!!!!' I have no idea that he will be there and I was so shock because I am afraid that he will think I am fooling around on stage or I am not acting properly or ...... I don't know. If I know that he will be there, I will be so super stress and I might perform badly. Fortunately, he didn't tell me that he will be going to watch it. I didn't think that he will come at all because Uncle Lim never watch operas (though he is a professional actor). He only watch experimental stuff to get inspiration. I didn't think that he will appear at all and he didn't know the location nor the time of my performance. In the end, he went and he even watched the whole show till the end. I asked him why did he go watch it because I know he never watch operas. He told me that he wanted to 关心一下 how I am performing outside cuz I am afterall, a student of his. Frankly speaki...

That day on Sunday, we were supposed to rehearse the show, Han Dan Ji, which we renamed to 'kan dang ji', which means Fried Potatoes. Many students didn't like rehearsing for fried potatoes because this script was written by Chua and honestly, the plot sucks. It's too complicated and involved too many people. I think we need about 30 actors in this show, it's ridiculous. Therefore, each person has to do a few roles. Anyway, many students didn't want to act this show so the MIA on last sunday. Chua has been pushing Ang to deliver this show to him but Ang couldn't do anything because the students were missing. I wasn't missing though, I was there. I felt that Ang didn't have a choice. She has to do this show even though she might not like the script. Think about it, Chua gave us free advertisements for Long Feng Xiang, took photos for us and he didn't interfere with the rehearsals.
