Me, Myself & Opera

As this time we only present a one hour version of the above show, we weren't really that stressed out during rehearsals. However, I can tell that teacher is very stress because there are other troupes performing too and the audiences are bound to compare. For me, I was quite relax actually because I basically have only one scene and 2 verses of song. I just need to ensure that my sheng remembers all her lines and all her actions will do. And of course my only stress is to how to look pretty on stage. This is very important! I was very happy yesterday because dearest ponyo actually came to see my show! It's the first time she came to see my show and she brought along one of her students, Joel. Joel is an er-hu player. Although ponyo's presence will increase my stress but she is a really good teacher and she gives me good advices so I must do my very best. A friend just posted some photos of the rehearsal of 相和歌. I wanted to take these rehearsals photos but I didn't have a chance. Fortunately, someone else did and I can steal the photos off FB. I call this the small, medium, large photo! See susan is small and I am large! LOL. I like the picture with the background and the 3 of us in the same position. I bet it must look nice on the actual performance... that is if I don't look too LARGE. I also like this photo. I like the position and the also the background! I think I really like the background display this time round. It's simple and elegant. I look a bit like ghost cuz I have done my eye make up but not my lipstick! I look super fat in this!! Both the thin and sharp face people are behind me making me this round face look roundest! DAMN! Wasted this nice position we make. I think ponyo must be laughing at my shoes because they are sticking out like that! LOL. Next we had the Si bao rehearsal. My legs very cramp like that...
