Me, Myself & Opera

In this world there are many kinds of people. Just like in opera we have different 行当 to categorize these people. In Chinese Opera, 花脸 use different colours to tell audiences what kind of character they are portraying. Like white faces stand for cunning, black for justice and red for loyalty etc. Thus audience will be able to judge the characters. Unfortunately, in real life, people don't paint their faces according to their characters. If they do then they will probably colour themselves red or black. Who will colour themself white? And so there...

There have been many problems recently, I think I am quite suay lor. The only good thing that happened was that MD successfully bought my shoes balls from China. Other than that, most things seems to be going against me way. Haiz.... Anyway if problems doesn't concern me then I dun give a damn really. As long the problem doesn't affect my beautiful life (Ekin's album's name. HAhaha) then I dun care because life is short. If I care about every single problem happening around me then I will be super busy lor. I am already very busy nowadays. After next week I will have more free time~ Then I can finally stay at home and watch movies or drama series or read comics liao..

Bedok will be confirming to have their performance on 3 September. I was assigned to perform 2 excerpts that day, 18 miles send off and Meng Li jun's Tour at the imperial garden. Unfortunately, Bedok kept changing the performance dates from 10 Sep to 11 Sepm to 17 Sep and then finally to 3 Sep. When I knew it was going to be on 3rd Sep, I had a delimma. I already had a performance that day with SL at their annual dinner. So I checked with Biyu jie and she told me that we will be acting on that day. I thought that if I am going to play some music pieces only then I can tell her that I can't make it on 3 Sep. But since it will be an opera show, I will have to do for them because firstly, they don't have enough people. Secondly, I agreed to do for them at the beginning of the year. So very sad lor. FM has to find another yingtai and Meiying has to find another MLJ. We have already found the my replacement le and now I am guiding the new yingtai to overtake my role. She was hav...

Hi all, here is a video of Shaoxing's singing demo during their workshop. :) Nice? They really sing very well. I like Zhang Lin's singing! The 4 nights performances were memorable and time really flies! I was waiting for them to come and in a blink they finished performance already. I enjoy the feeling of being in a theatre where its dark and quiet and I can fully immerse myself in the performance. Enjoy the moment. :D
