I cut this clup from my vcd. It is a 4 disc series teaching people how to watch pekin opera but I think the theories are applicable to all opera types. It is quite interesting when they explained how to watch opera. Nice right...

Tang Bo HU Venue: Tampines East CC Time: 7.30pm Ticket: $15, $10 Today, another tedious rehearsal session for teacher. We rehearsed 2 times also for thw whole show. I only had one major scene and one sub scene so the other times, I was either talking to the other people or looking at the reherasal. Today, May continued to try to solve the maths problem she started 2 days ago. The problem sum was brought to us by Xin En. I hate maths so I didn't take part in solving it. Come on, we have an accountant, a banker, an auditor and a teacher around. They will be power enuf to solve it. Nevertheless, the problem sum still caused quite a commotion among us. Hahaha.. Finally YH solved it. I should have taken a video of the 'dian xiang' part instead of this part as you guy can see Richard doing Dan. hahaha... But I forgot. Anyway, while I was filming this video, I noticed that MD was sleeping..... I just found a nice clip on my hp which was also taken when we were learning chun guang ...

Yesterday, beautiful saturday, we had rehearsal at COI as usual. I aws supposed to meet CS (AC should know CS by now) at 5 pm but we were late so we took a cab down. Only half of my mum's face captured on the camera.. hahaha... Saturday's rehearsal is still fine but I know Ang is not happy with my Do Ma. She can't do anything now anyway cuz she doesnt' have time. Close one eye and hum hum.. We rehearsed the whole show 2 times and the whole thing ended at 10+pm. Then Richard drove me down to Biyu's home at Serangoon for the bbq. I smsed Mei to ask if they are still there. That mei surely play until so crazy that she did not hear her phone so I smsed uncle also. In the end, as expected, uncle got reply, Mei did not. When I go there, I saw Uncle and Huang Hui arrange the chairs by the swimming pool. Uncle : Yu ying you are here so late, have u eaten? Me: No leh.. Uncle : (In English) Follow me. Me : Wah.. speak english now.. So he brought me walk quite some distant awa...

Specially for Amai..... she wanted to know Zhang Huo Ding, so I went to find my favourite ZHD piece to upload. It is a karaoke vcd and the stupid movie maker refuse to load the channel with the voice. It kept loading the one with only the music. So frustrating.. I used Soundforge to record the whole mtv down then paste the sound in another channel in Movie maker. then I tried to sync the lips and the voice. Still quite ok I think.. Take a look.. Oh yah.. I love this piece very much... especially the part where she sing 'lei shi yi ji...ii..ii...ii..n..' the draggin part is very nice.. also the last faster part is nice too. I am trying to sing this song.. hahaha next time bring to ktv sing.

Cuz SL gave me 2 costumes. One is rather old. They ask me if i want to keep it. Well.. Why not.. hahaha.. The other is a guan yin costume. It is still quite new wor... The belt is missing but never mind la.. I will make one myself....

Well well.. Mai Jie encouraged me to blog about Gui Pu Sa. I didn't want to blog it as she just did that. While I am writing this, I am still watching it. At disc 2 now. At first, I borrowed this show just to see the costume and hair pcs... rather than watching the show. First thing I must comment is the disco light. How come it is at the back of the stage like a disc? 8 big colour spotlights are very distracting lor and make the whole stage look like july ge tai.. Without the 8 spotlights, the stage still look not bad. Chen Zhao Xiang (CZX) is indeed very 'street'. Her speech can be improved to be less 'street'. Looks wise.. not bad but she lack the 'Shu juan wei', scholarly look. When she act this kind of role like gui pu sa, it's still ok but I think she not suitable to do roles like.. liang shan bo etc. Her singing quite good but she is not a JING so why does she use 'hu yin'? Hu yin does not match her role. Anyhow use.. She already dun have ...
