Taiwan Trip Day 2

Ooooh... beautiful sunset clouds. I took this in the aeroplane on the way to Taipei.

Day 2 was a busy day... We met up at 8:30am at the lobby of the hotel after breakfast and a coach brought us all to the national theatre for rehearsal. The national theatre of Taiwan is beautiful and grand. I like it very much and it reminded me of the forbidden city in Beijing.

Nice right. I prefer it more than the Explanade. Explain.. neh.. explain neh.. hahaha

I wanted to take a photo of the ppl hanging the backdrops but Richard and Lin Jia were blocking the view.
Then they walked off and I took a picture again. Yah, can tell that i very zo bo right. Ppl busy doing the backdrop I busy taking photos for my blog. Hahahaha.... Dun think that they need my help la, I just slack there can le.

Singapore COI... hahaha.. Then I walked to the changing room, which is quite a distant from the stage, to see what the others are doing.....

Guess who is it, sleeping on the cahirs.. I think everyone was very tired cuz we all woke up so early to come to this place and somemore most of us are quite stress over the show. Thone sleeping here is Haining lor...

Then the xiaoqian troupe started rehearsing. The xiaoqian troupe very kan cheong cuz they are doing the traditional type of opera and somemore the actors are all quite pro so they very stress that if they dun do well, ppl will bombard.

The backdrop was still in a mess when they were rehearsing.. CBX can act well.. but hor, her teochew style is too strong la.Guo lai singing.. His teochew was the least among the 3 teochew actors but I think his voice is too high pitched especially when he speak. He said he is used to it, very hard to change. He told me that also very stress cuz he very scared to sing a repeated tunes. I think he sang 3 verses of 3 pen shui xian... He told me he will get mixed with the words when the tune repeat. I think he is the best amateur lao sheng tho..

I took this photo from the so called 'stage' and you can see, the audience are really close to us. So close that I felt stress..
Then they rehearsed the Nie Xiao Qian with costumes again. Basically we, the modern show ppl, did not have much time to rehearse. Cuz NXQ ppl very stress, they need more rehearsals so we let them use the stage first. I just slack around and took photos.
After their half dressed rehearsal... They were discussing ways to improve the show. Look at the time! 3.44pm. Then it was our turn to rehearse.

Me.. I didnt ask anyone to take photo of me lor but Lin jia was snapping away with my camera while I was rehearsing and hence i got alot of my ugly photos... pui.

That night I was rather kan cheong and i did not eat much of that fish more more dinner. I dun like it lor.. Tho richard said that it was nice. I dun like. Then I do my make up... and then went to watch their Nie xiao qian via TV at the backstage. The backstage has this TV like victoria which shows whatever is happening on stage.

After Nie Xiao qian there was a 20 minutes break.. Alan and me made our way to the side of the stage to get ready. Alan was very relax... singing to himself .. I told him I very kan cheong and then we talked and he talked alot of rubbish which helped me to relax abit. It was the first performance and the audience were invited guests. They will be having a conference on our show the next day after watching it that night so I very nervous. Anyway, everything went smoothly tho I was still very nervous on stage and Lin jia still luff me say my face very stone when I dancing with him... -_-" stress mah.....

After perf that night, some of us went to Lin Xia night market to eat... There were a few of us and I took some photos also.. Will upload another day..
