Guan Yin Dan Performance
Guan Yin Dan coming again. So fast. I blogged before that we are going to act Su Qin right but due to time constraint, we decided to do Chen San Wu Niang as we are more familiar with that.
We will be acting out the following excerpts.
1) Di Deng (partial of the yuan xiao scene)
2) Shang hua (the garden scene)
3) Liu San (partial)
4) Xiu Gu Luan (the dating scene)
5) Si ben (eloping)
Very messy lor, there will be changes in the actors for these few scenes. For example, the role of ya chun will be done by 3 person. The reason being, some ppl are more familiar with some scenes. As for me, I am not very familiar with all the scenes but I was given to do liu san because they want to give me a chance to practice and gain experience. They can exclude me for this show actually as susan can do liu san also.
Wu niang will be done by 2 person, Biyu and Ru wang, but Biyu will be doing 2 roles, wuniang for Siben and Xiu gu luan and Ya chun for shang hua. Very luan one lor. hahahaha..
Fortunately, chen san will be constant, Uncle Lim.
Today I went SL to pratice my liu san, my god, i very kok up leh.. cuz i got no time to pratice my lines and i didnt do a good job today. Today must pratice my lines... Tuesday rehearsing again.
During the practice, there was a part where Uncle sang a piece to wu niang telling her about his feelings and how upset he was that wu niang was so cold to him. He brought out the feeling well and I felt very sad for chen san when I watched him sing. I first time felt sad for Chen san in this excerpt. I watched the Xu ya fen's excerpt for liu san but I dun a tiny bit upset for chen san tho she also did sing about how upset she was for wuniang...
For the 'Di Deng' uncle lim is not acting.. think he slack also la, act one less scene.
I think i bring down the standard of the show lor, cuz both ruwang and uncle did so well... I was there like fumbling.. haiz.. fan leh. But uncle was very encouraging lah.. He consoled me and told me that it is a process... slowly go ti hui .. very funny, he still say," I say these is to encourage you. Don't give up."

Must be thinking why no blog for Maha right? Sian la.. I din take a single photo with my cam lor. So no photos. Ugly anyway. no mood.

But actually Chen San quite pitiful lor.. imagine a scholar from a well-to-do family becoming a gardener (more of a slave I'd think... Master Huang is a damn miser employer)
Garden scene is the chasing butterflies scene. we are not doing the lychee scene.. littering is forbiddened in singapore leh.
Sorry ah, till now havent post the rest of the dvds.. i am still quite busy now. got another perf on thursday and I still suck leh..
