Soul Journey 06.07.08
Soul Journey, a performance which SL spent a lot of time preparing and really look upon this performance with utmost importance. So after months of preparation and rehearsals we finally performed it for 3 times at Esplanade Theatre Studio.
This photo was taken on the rehearsal day ,05.07.08. This was the make up are and the make up artistes were busy making up the 20 odds people.
I wanna know how my hair looks like so I took a photo of the back of my head! The stylist told me that the bun was very heavy and thick and she was afraid it might fall off during the rehearsal but fortunately, it did not.
From left, Ling ling, Huang Hui and Ya Yi. I don't why Huang hui got that disgusting look on his face lor.
Done with the make up and hair do.
I like the make up, I thought it was rather well-done.
This is a nice place to take photos.
Faizal was playing guzheng near the entrance of the theatre studio to provide something like a mini performance before the show starts. At the entrance of the theatre, there was also tea drinking aread and hand washing area. There was even aroma therapy setted up to help relax the audience before they go into the theatre.
At first we got the idea to tie black cloth on our feet and I think it is a very nice idea but unfortunately, they keep falling out so in the end we decided to abandon it.
Bao bao was also very busy during the performance, massaging the performers. Hee hee..
This was taken inside the theatre while I was waiting for sound check. There were LOTS of sound checks. My god. It's like a sound check everytime they changed batteries, everytime we fix the mic onto our ears etc. But I must say this is professionalism.

Me behind my mask... posing like I am a very strong monster. Bao bao was very amused with us taking photos with the mask but she refused to take photos. Also, she kept pestering me to play with her the same game over and over again. She likes to pretend to be a sheep and ask me to catch her and eat her up. Funny lor.
There was a trend previously in SL and COI to take photos with mirrors.
KL and YH was there to see the show in the afternoon. I don't know if YH enjoys it because it is not really her kind of arts but KL liked it. :)
So now, I am having a little break but I need to learn up a song to sing on 21 Jul. Meanwhile, COI is slacking. There isn't any intense rehearsals. Just relaxing. Or maybe you can say... slack.
