Nothing to do!
I went to watch KL's troupe performance last week and I coincidentally met Chua there. I guess he is always there when there is some kind of cultural performance. He came over and told me that he is going to send me to Indonesia to perform.
Indonesia again?
He asked me if I will be free at the end of October. I told him I should be ok with that. He told me that it's a yueju performance, I probably need to learn yueju a bit. The teacher will be Shui Xiao Yan. I was happy to know that because I think Shui is a good teacher and therefore, I agreed to go. He also told me that I might need to perform a short gzx with Ang over there.
Anyway, it's not confirmed yet I think because Ang is not around. I will see what she says when she comes back.
Another thing is, recently I have been quite suay. My previous 2 charity show 1 kana canceled and the other kana postponed. Hai.. I think these few weeks I got no fate to perform. Bala just called up to inform me that he got a show on 14 Oct. I hope it won't be canceled again! No performance also quite sian one leh!
And also, I am thinking of asking James help me take some nice photos at the end of the year. Maybe in Chinese Garden or what.. lol... Hopefully he is free by then. He very busy one leh.

Comments
That seems quite rare these days!
Anyway, I'm from library@esplanade and found you through your comments on the "Dai Bao" screening at the library on your other blog.
Actually we sometimes have talks on Chinese Opera at the library@esplanade also.
In fact just last Sunday, we had a talk on Hokkien Opera here with members of Ming Hwa Yuen Opera Troupe Co. (Taiwan) in attendance.
You can read more about that talk here: http://blogs.nlb.gov.sg/epcl/programmes-promotions/moonfest-hokkien-opera-chua-soo-pong-ming-hwa-yuan-taiwanese-opera/
We're also slated to have a talk on Xiamen Opera in Nov 08. All these programmes are free for public.
So if you're interested to update yourself on that, feel free to leave a comment on that post above so I can maybe update you via a mailing list.
Or just visit our blog from time to time.
Either way's fine :) And do let the Chinese opera community you're in touch with know as well!
Nice reading your blog and knowing young people still have such a love for traditional Chinese arts!
Cheers!
