Solo Performance

The solo performance was a mega MESS. The place really sucks because it's a old palace so it was not well equiped.

1) No Air-con
2) No fan
3) No mirrors
4) No proper dressing room

Sigh... What the.....

So we got to tolerate that harsh condition which made us stronger.

Me and mung mung. The yuejue actresses like our wigs very much but the find the price a bit too steep. I think the price is worth it because I have used this wig for 6 years and it's still as good as new (after washing and combing of course)

People rehearsing in the carpark. Teacher Li, my second godfather. He asked me to call him lao ba one day. I was surprised but he insisted so ok lah. He is a fun loving and jovial person. Might be a bit blur sometimes but quite hardworking.

I like to discuss opera with him and listen to his stories about his training when he was in China. The harsh training he went through was unbelievable. He knows a lot of things about opera though he looks like blur sotong sometimes.

Mdm Ang. I tell you lor, many people were mesmerised by her laosheng.. Hmm.. Even the female lead told me that Ang look so good that she is going to abandon her hubby, lin hong, for ang. Lol.. She said," I don't want the prince lah, I want the father in law, so handsome sia!"

Still can't guess who this is???? It's doctor CHUA. :P He was really hilarious in this make up. Ugliness to the ultimate! We laughed so much that we almost got stomach cramps. He asked ang to help him do the make up and told her to make it as ugly as possible. My god.

Many people want to see Ang as the soldiers. We all double up as soldiers at the last part because of the shortage of actors. I changed costumes like crazy! Freak me out.

I didn't want to help out the esplanade show. I guess you guys must have received the flyer from esplanade regarding this show on 20 Dec. I don't want to act this cuz of the crazy costume changing ( I acted 5 roles) but I have no choice because Chua will kp ang and ang will kp me. Haiz. Moreover, I very considerate because if I don't act, li lao bao gotta teach another person the fighting sequence which can take quite some time to learn. Time is running out so no choice lah.
