巧合姻缘
It was called 比文招亲 before and now the name is 巧合姻缘. I actually prefer the first name than the latter. It matches the story more.
In this show, I was acting as a fierce, 38 and crazy mother. I acted a 38 role before as Bird Nest in Forced to be a Doctor. But that role isn't really the same as this one. This one is fiercer. I actually quite miss acting as Bird Nest.
I wasn't very sure about acting this role at first because it doesn't fall into my usual type of roles but I gave it a try anyway. The key is to be thick skin. You can't be too bothered about how others are looking at you. LOL, I bet when I was a kid, I never in my life imagined that I will one day do something like this. In fact, I was such a timid and scaredy-cat kid. I had terrible stage fright. I always want to hide in the corner and hope that teacher won't call my name. I hate it when people look at me.
So this time, teacher assigned me to act as mother and assigned Xin En to do the female lead. Actually she did asked me and May before but May doesn't want. She prefered to do Xiao Hong.
On final rehearsal day, we had to tie the backdrop.
We are a in-house troupe. Meaning we do everything in-house. From script to music to making costumes to posters to making props etc. Everything! We don't really engage a lot of people to help us with our show. This time the only outside helper was Ah Sam. Cuz this time we can control the subs at backstage. So some of the actors took turns to click on the subs. lol....
As an in-house troupe, we were busy tying the backdrop on final rehearsal day. The backdrop person only delivered it.
So you can see everyone's butt here. Guess who is who!
But this person below actually didn't help out with the backdrop tying. She was enjoying herself watching all the butts.
Zy pretends to be superviser issit!
Performance day, teacher has got lots of friends coming to visit her~
Far far behind the picture, we can see the mickey mouse ears...
Do note that the 2 dans' hair below are done by me. Hee hee~ aiyah paiseh don't need to thank me!
Our attitude shi mei keep saying that she is very pretty. I told her I will pierce her head with the hair pcs, 白的进去，红的出来。
ooooh~ I also got to wear new costumes that day.. happy~ lol...
But I didn't have much chances to take photos. I was very busy!!! I had to do the heads of 2 dans and a sheng... Do make up for LZ....
Very busy!!!
Then everytime when I do my own make up, I don't have enough time. bloody hell..
