Peony Pavillion
Yesterday I had a mind blowing experience watching the Peony Pavillion! It was so beautiful and voices of the actresses and actors were so full of emotions. I was very touched at the part when the female lead was looking for a lost dream in the garden and when she was about to die. In fact I cried at the part when she died.
The whole stage was very simple, not much props except the very basic tables and chairs. They used lightings mostly to differentiate each scene.

The female lead is so pretty and the male lead is so handsome!
Tonight is the second night and I am so so so excited!!!! I am going to immerse myself into the world of beautiful kunqu again. Please don't wake me up from this beautiful dream.
