Madness
I think it's really madness. Suddenly, we have like a lot of performances! Though I can handle the performances, I think it is going to be very hard for our teacher. She has to take care of so many things for the shows. I have no idea why is it that we can have like no shows for a year and then we now have 5 or 6 lining up, to be done within 2 months. And mind you, they are all full length 2 hours shows.
Tho it's a repeated show, our students (according to May) have a tendancy to forget everything once the show is over so teacher has to re-teach everything. More over, there will be cases like this person cannot take part, that person cannot take part. Then the new person we get to replace them will need training. We all work very hard for the shows, I just hope that the shows won't be messed up.
Kinda worried. I think we don't have enough time to rehearse everything. If we flop, we will all kana scolding. Then teacher will be in bad mood continuously for a long time until the whole thing die down.

Remember I said about acting the 'Doctor' show again? As me and May have both acted Pearl, the missy, and Bird Nest, the wife of doctor, roles before, we have no idea which role we will get.
Personally, I think May is good at being the doctor's wife, Bird Nest, because the role is just so her. Fierce, Mad, 38 and loud. Totally fit her character. The missy role, Pearl, is a simple role with not many lines and little appearance. The only pro part in being missy is that she is able to wear nice costumes.
For me, I feel that maybe I should do the Missy role because I have a very heavy role in Yu Niang. And I think I should spend more time worrying about Yu Niang. Since Pearl doesn't talk much, I dun have to spend too much time reading scripts. Then on the other hand, Bird Nest is a better role if I want to challenge myself and do better than the previous time I did it. It's a hard choice to make.
I ask May to make the choice but she pushed it to me. So I pushed it to teacher but teacher kept quiet.
Finally, one fine morning, I recieved a sms from May that she has decided to do the Missy role. Since she has decided, I told the outcome to Teacher. She is fine with it. During rehearsal, I asked her why the decision and she told me things like she doesn't want to stress and that she got no time etc.
Yah right, I thought. Like she is so very stressed out for Han Dan lor. Haha. Maybe she is very stressed about dancing on stage with a piece of leaf (She got to run around the stage with a piece of leaf in Handan). So I probed further and she admitted that she want to wear nice costumes.
Haha. OOps. She tell me not to tell the whole world but I just did it!

Ok la, whatever it is, at least she decided then I spend more time working on both roles at the same time lor. What to do... Hmm.. Hopefully I won't do too bad la.

may be get some 專業救兵 to do some teaching? or even some roles?
Or may be video record during teaching, then look and look to review... And if someone need to switch and take the role, they can look at the video first before having actual class, then may be things can be catch up faster this way??

LOL bird nest is the name of my role in the next show. In this show, everyone's name is a name of a kind of herb. Hee hee.
