I think it's really madness. Suddenly, we have like a lot of performances! Though I can handle the performances, I think it is going to be very hard for our teacher. She has to take care of so many things for the shows. I have no idea why is it that we can have like no shows for a year and then we now have 5 or 6 lining up, to be done within 2 months. And mind you, they are all full length 2 hours shows. Tho it's a repeated show, our students (according to May) have a tendancy to forget everything once the show is over so teacher has to re-teach everything. More over, there will be cases like this person cannot take part, that person cannot take part. Then the new person we get to replace them will need training. We all work very hard for the shows, I just hope that the shows won't be messed up. Kinda worried. I think we don't have enough time to rehearse everything. If we flop, we will all kana scolding. Recently I got 2 shootings, one for Han Dan and the other for Yu Niang. Talk about Yu niang I also stress, no time to rehearse and I got like alot of SONGS! Damn. Like alot of 都马 and 七字. May Teng was gloating over it. She was saying, Miko! Your role got only sing 2 types of tunes, Du ma and Qi Zi, like that you very stress! Gosh. Haiz. Stress never mind, worse is no time to rehearse. Last week, I performed the above show at the CC just outside my home! LOL, so damn convenient lor that I did my make up at home, waited till like 20 min before the show then we go down. Shiok. If we can have more shows at my place here. It will be super good for me. I know what you thinking, 盘妻索妻 is not a ge zai xi show, never seen it in GZX before but I converted it from Yueju, changed a few lines here and there so it wont sound strange in hokkien. I think it's a good idea to convert shows cuz that way, I won't be using the same scripts that Ang used before. My very skinny xiao sheng. I insist that she wear this outer layer 'jacket' thing so that she wont look so skinny on stage and make me look super fat. Nicely combed wig. Surprisingly, that night some coi ppl came to watch. Recently, I have seen this Butterfly dreams clip and thought it's kinda nice! And Qian Hui Li looked good in this wig! I think they should wear wigs more often cuz they are so handsome with it! LOL. Since it's mother's day, we decided to do this show, Mulian saves his mother, at Poh Ern Temple on 1st and 2nd May. It's a fund raising show for the temple so the prices for the tickets are quite steep. The ticket does include dinner tho prepared by Lingzhi Vegetarian Restuarant. I think the temple is beautiful. It's not like the traditional kind of temple we see. This is the first and only 'green' temple in Singapore. The energy consumed in this temple are all generated from the solar panels installed on the roof and the solar panel pagoda. This is the stage where we would perform. Nice right? I like the roof which is in the shape of the lotus flowers. And I also like those surrounding silk made curtains with the staff embroidered. I heard that this set of 'curtains' were made by the descendants of the imperial tailors in China. And this set of curtains worth a hefty $300,000! Beware of scary photo ahead! This happened quite some time ago because Ang's bday is only a few days after CNY. Hahaha. We had a little celebration in class on her birthday and I took some photos. Unfortunately, I totally forgot about the photos until I came across them just now. Oops. Our dearest Ang had a very hard time teaching us, the naughty students, so we had a little birthday celebration for her. May got the cake and Bao hua supposed to bring the plates. Then I dunno what happened and BH didnt brin the plates. Well, this is a small issue so forget it, we used tissue papers instead. Teacher Ang is like a mother to us, the students.
