Ban Zhao
The long awaited BAN ZHAO! I FINALLY CAN WATCH IT!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
SHiok...
ok.. I finished watching Ban Zhao already and this show has only 6 actors but it was a very very touching show. I love it!
Ban Zhao is a young lady, sister of Ban Gu. She was talented and smart and her brother was a teacher in a small school. Ban Gu had 2 students, Ma Xu and Cao Shou. Ma Xu was honest and humble but Cao Shou was arrogant and .. fengliu. Ban Zhao also had a maid called Sha Da Jie.
One day, an eunuch came to the school to inform Ban Gu that he can now continue to write his historical book called Han Shu as the empress is lifting the ban. Ban Gu was very happy but he was getting old and was afraid that he cannot finish hanshu. So he ask his sister to marry either one of his student so that the student can finish the book for him. However, the sister doesn't know who to choose in the end she drew lots.
Who knows she chose the Cao Shou. ...
I wondering if i should continue with the story as it might be a spoiler if you all haven't seen the show yet.
The character of Ban Zhao is the most complicated and most difficult to act Dan role I have ever ever seen.... Really!
Ban Zhao has to go throught several stages of life, several different changes phsycologically... Best thing is Zhang Jing Xian managed to bring out the feel of Ban Zhao in her different stages in life. From 14 years old to 71 years old. That is incredible. I cried at the end of the show.. so touching.
I will show a clip of Ban zhao I took with my camera. I didnt manage to cut the clip directly from the show as it was a DVD. My com cannot cut DVD but I wanted very much to show you all that scene.. This is the scene when Ban Zhao realised her husband became the empress's xiao bai lian.
What do you think? I remember that AC blogged about the look that wow audience. Zhang Jing Xian wowed me many times in this show~
Please tell me if you want me to write out the story~
