I was very busy in the office today! My god.. I worked like mad dog.
At around 11 plus, susan called me and asked me if I can go to SL during my lunch break to discuss about the next gyd show. We will be doing the last 4 scenes of Su Qin.
Many of you might not know this show.. well, I tot this show is famous. Anyway, its about this guy whom the whole family looked down on becuz he failed the imperial exams. He tot that his wife also looked down on him and so he angrily went to stay at his uncle's house. His wife, who was actually virtous, went to look for him but he chased her out. The next day, he decided to leave and try his luck elsewhere. His wife chase after him and they patched back after some explaining from the wife. Finally, the guy made it and became an official for 6 states. He went back to his home and pretended he is still poor and weak. His parents, brother and sis in law all looked down on him and scolded him for being a good for nothing. Later when they realised that he actually became an official, they all wanted to get close to him again. Roguhly the story is like that la..
After some discussion about the show, we all tried to decide who to act what. Susan asked uncle to state out the ppl he had in mind for each role. He said that he can act as Su Qin but he wanted to let Huang Hui try the role. However, huanghui will not be about to do the whole role as it's quite heavy and they will probably split the role.
Then he said," I think yuying can do zhou shi."
I was shocked lor.... "erm.. I think cannot lah, I scared leh."
He said,"Dun worry, Ruwang will back u up. You will split the role with her if there is enuf ppl." My god.. Zhou shi is su qin's wife and she has to sing alot. Stress.. At first I tot they will let me act sister in law cuz sister in law doesn't sing much but she has alot of actions and speech. I was very surprised he wanted me to do zhou shi as zhou shi needs to sing and she is a KU DAN. -_-" I not suited to do kudan leh i felt but somehow i kept kana do ku dan.
We discussed the rest of the roles and ruwang was fxed to do the sister in law if there is not enuf ppl. Well... i hope we have enuf ppl lor.. then ruwang can do half the zhou shi role and spare me some singing.
The above clip i uploaded was the part where the sister in law tried to acknowledge su qin but was scolded and a singing part of zhou shi...
Erm.. all is not fixed, see if we can gather more ppl or not.. (I doubt so la, few ppl know liyuanxi)
